Are you using the most current UScan Software?
If you are using SpectraStar XT Series Instrument with UScan software older than 3.2.x.x, we highly recommend upgrading to the latest software version. This includes features that will help improve lamp life time, and other benefits.
Specifically, there were a couple of rare instances where a customer could get the instrument in a situation with a lamp voltage exceeding a limit and be prevented from running a TAS Alignment routine to create the new lamp current setpoint. The new version fixes these bugs.
UScan 3.2.1.0 upgrade is highly recomended for all installations which have upgraded to version 3.0.1.119. It is also recommended as a general update to any SpectraStar XT installation.
