Definitions & Glossary of Terms

Contract Duration

The length or term of the contracted period, starting from the time of customer acceptance.

Number of Scheduled PM visits included

The number of Preventive Maintenance (PM) visits included in the contract. These visits are scheduled to fit with the customer’s specific requirements.

Additional visits included

Any visits over and above the inclusive PM visits.

PM Service kit (lamp and filter) included

Service kit/Parts normally replaced during a service as defined by the instrument manufacturer.

Call out charge including all travel time & 1st hour on-site labour

Our standard charge for a call out inclusive of all travel time, on-site labour time and any travel expenses such as fuel but not including airfares (if applicable).

Additional parts included

Any parts not covered by the standard service kits.

Target response time (Hours)

We will endeavor to be with you the same day if possible. If this is not possible our target is to be on-site no later than specified in the contract type.
